Trouble brewing

Started by: Joe Maplin (903)

over Billinge Hill,
Mester Wellens not happy with some of the tackling"Technique"
of Leighs Asiata..Four players, two gone for the season, injured by the same bloke,..Bit ironic really as he regularly defends a player, who has form at this type of tackle, and has himself ended more than one players season in the past.

A bit rich coming from a a Head Coach of a club who had the likes of Dave Chisnall, Paul Forber, Roy Haggerty, Sonny Nickell etc in their packs and who were not adverse to doing what he is claiming about a certain Leigh player!

Tiger Cat...no they weren't...However as far as Wigan are concerned those names are history, like the success of the football team you 'support'..
The incidents i bring up are happening now...not 10 years ago .
However,as this is not the first time you have mentioned Ben Flower..I am outing you as a sintelliner

Tiger Cat

While we are on about players who were hardly angels where tackling is concerned, do you remember John Fitzpatrick?

Another one who's happy to hijack a thread and bring it round to his favourite subject!

He'll be bemoaning the amount of United chat on these boards next

Codge, you should go back into coaching and show them how to tackle , that with you having so much success in the past, even tho you wont prove it,

Y C M I U .
One player he mentions just happens to have played for the mighty Utd.
The late J F was a terrific player who gave everything for utd in a variety of positions .

"The late JF was a trerrific player who give everything for Utd in a variety of positions" which sounds like something read on the internet.

Anyone who actually saw him play will remember him more as a fullback and a thug.

Hartle, Smith, Ure etc were others as Joe Maplin has said, enforcers of the time!

How many times did you see him play dodger .?.Come on now just say .
You are the thug for disrespecting the late J F who was a terrific man who had his career cut short by injuries.

Joe, what did you think of wigans last try in first half, shade lucky perhaps, i thought leigh were the best team in first half but after that first try in second half they just went through the motions, good win for wigan and kept it going , good luck to leigh in the final.

Can’t disagree with your assessment , I’ve said elsewhere

Joe,
Stevie Wonder could have seen that coming. Talk of Williams being unsettled there. I see the centre signed from Catalan scored quite a few points last night.
